Tri Valley Plastic Surgery is proud to welcome Dr. Phillip Wasicek to the team. Dr. Wasicek is a gifted, experienced aesthetic expert, mentored by the past two presidents of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His precision, artistry, and commitment to excellence are evident in every procedure he performs.
Dr. Wasicek grew up in a small town near Syracuse, NY.
He attended college at Colgate University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in chemistry.
He subsequently attended the University of Rochester for medical school, graduating with distinction in research and community service.
Dr. Wasicek’s path to becoming a plastic surgeon has been through rigorous training and education. He completed his general surgery internship at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and his residency at the University of Maryland. During this time, he was chosen as Chief Surgical Resident at the RA Cowley Shock Trauma Center. For his unwavering dedication to service, he was awarded the Senior Resident Teaching Award at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Wasicek is presently training at the University of Pittsburgh, currently ranked as the #1 plastic surgery training program in the US (Doximity rankings 2023-2024), and is part of the plastic surgery training review committee there.
He has had the opportunity to work with and learn from leaders in the field, including two past presidents of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
