Broken Capillaries and Spider Veins Around the Nose
Facial capillaries and spider veins around the nose and on the cheeks are common complaints that patients seek treatment for. We have had tremendous success reducing the appearance of these vessels with our Nd: Yag laser. As with all capillary/vein treatments several sessions may be required to achieve optimal results and capillaries may return or new capillaries may form in the future that require maintenance treatments.

Small, thread-like vessels near the nose are usually isolated broken capillaries, while widespread facial redness can point to rosacea or ongoing sun damage. These patterns are treated differently, so an in-person exam helps confirm what's causing the visible vessels before laser treatment begins. Sun protection and avoiding heat or irritation afterward can help reduce how quickly new vessels form.
