How is Coolsculpting for fat removal from knees/calves?

Unfortunately, CoolSculpting is generally not suitable for these areas. Applicator options vary and are selected by the provider based on the treatment area, but the knees and calves typically don't have enough pinchable, pliable fat to fit properly into an applicator, which is needed for the treatment to work well.

Clinical Context

The calves and knees have less loose, pinchable fat than areas like the abdomen or thighs, which is why CoolSculpting applicators don't fit well there. Surgical fat removal may be an option in select cases, but the lower leg tends to heal more slowly, with swelling that can linger longer than in other treated areas. Compression garments are especially important for this region, and it often takes extra time before the final contour is visible.
