How Should I Deal with Bumps and Bruises After Restylane?
Restylane under the eyes can leave bumps which typically are small collections of Restylane secondary to the very thin nature of the under eye skin. Bruising typically will resolve on its own. The bumps may not. Your treating physician can treat these with Hyaluronidase. However you may still have some unevenness that only time will fix.
Clinical Context
Small bumps after under-eye filler often come from tiny pockets of product sitting close to the skin surface, since this area has very little fat or muscle to hide contour changes. A soft, movable bump may soften with gentle massage over time, while a firmer, well-defined lump is less likely to resolve on its own and usually needs an in-office check. Your injector can decide whether hyaluronidase or continued observation is the right next step for your specific bump.
