I'm Not Sure if This is a Broken Capillaries on my Cheeks?
I got this red capillaries appeared on my cheeks since long time ago (2 years) it make my skin little darker . I don't know how to get rid of this ,and what shall I avoid using on my skin ?
Broken Capillaries on Face
Thank you for your question. From the photo it does appear as though you have several visible capillaries. The best treatment for these is laser, which generally takes 1-3 treatments for desired results and may require maintenance treatments in the future. In our San Francisco Bay Area practice we use an Nd:Yag laser with great success at reducing the appearance facial capillaries. Additionally, topical steroids (like those used to treat eczema or psoriasis) can cause skin atrophy, broken vessels, and stretch marks and should be avoided in this area, unless specifically instructed by a board certified dermatologist. I hope this helps.
Juvéderm is a family of hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers manufactured by Allergan. Different formulations address different concerns — Voluma for mid-face volume, Vollure for nasolabial folds, and Ultra/Ultra Plus for lips and perioral lines. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that attracts and retains moisture, providing both volume and hydration. Results are immediate and typically last 6–18 months depending on the product and treatment area. HA fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed.
Patient safety protocols, including operating in accredited facilities with board-certified anesthesiologists, significantly reduce surgical risk.
