What can I do to fix my asymmetrical face?

Filler can be used to improve the symmetry for 1-2 years, depending on the product used. You can also consider fat grafting for a more permanent result. Please make sure to see a board-certified provider for your consultation and treatment.

Clinical Context

Facial asymmetry can come from underlying bone structure, muscle differences, or soft tissue volume, and figuring out which one is driving the imbalance matters before choosing treatment. A consultation typically includes a close look at whether one side of the jaw or cheekbone is naturally larger, and how much of the difference is simply volume. If the asymmetry is mainly skeletal, fat grafting or filler alone may improve but not fully correct it.
