What is the difference between liposuction and liposculpture?

There is no difference between the two. They describe selectively removing fat through very small incisions to improve contour.

Clinical Context

After liposuction, the tiny tunnels left by the cannula fill with fluid and inflammatory cells as part of normal healing. Swelling typically peaks in the first few days, then gradually decreases over a few weeks as the lymphatic system clears the extra fluid. Compression garments help limit fluid buildup during this phase. Final contour usually isn't apparent until three to six months, once swelling resolves and skin and deeper tissue settle into their new shape.
