Would I need to have the skin tightened after CoolSculpting under chin?

It depends on how much skin laxity you have after the treatment is completed. Sometimes the skin recoils well and there is minimal laxity, but it really depends on the person and the skin quality. It is best to be evaluated in person to assess the area of concern and determine what is the best treatment for you.

Clinical Context

Skin tightness after fat reduction depends mainly on the collagen and elastin in the dermis. Younger skin with more elastic support tends to recoil and adapt to a smaller fat layer underneath. Skin that has thinned from sun exposure, aging, or significant weight loss has less elastic recoil and may stay loose once fat volume is reduced. This is a separate factor from fat itself, which is why an in-person exam is the best way to know what result to expect.
