60 units of Dysport in jaw. Is this enough to see any results?

30U of dysport per side is a conservative treatment but there's no problem with starting low- you may just need a touch up at 2 weeks. I typically start with 40-50U per side and reassess the masseters at 2 weeks. Since the masseters are a bulky muscle, it can take more than one treatment and a couple of months to see the full results as the muscle atrophies.

Clinical Context

Dysport doses are often described as 'units per side' rather than total, so it helps to know how your 60 units were split. Dysport and Botox aren't interchangeable unit-for-unit—Dysport typically needs several times more units for a similar effect. Masseter treatments for jaw slimming usually use higher doses than treatments aimed mainly at TMJ discomfort, so comparing your dose to a friend's may not be a fair comparison if your goals differ.
