Are these Dysport injections too low for crows feet?

It's difficult to answer your question without evaluating the location of your muscles. The general rule of thumb is not to treat too low when treating the crow's feet as it can inadvertently affect the zygomaticus muscle and cause smile asymmetry; however, the position of this muscle varies slightly from person to person. I encourage you to not worry at this time as the treatment has already been performed and you were seen by an experienced injector. The full results will be at 2 weeks so if you're happy with your results at that time, you shouldn't have any problem after that. Hope that helps!

Clinical Context

The crow's feet area is treated by relaxing the outer edge of the muscle that circles the eye. Because this muscle blends into nearby cheek muscles used for smiling, injection depth and placement matter—too low or too deep can affect nearby muscles and cause temporary asymmetry. Everyone's anatomy differs slightly, which is why experienced injectors adjust technique person to person. Results take about two weeks to fully develop, so it's normal not to see the final effect right away.
