Can Fraxel Laser Cause Botox to Diffuse to Mouth?

It is unlikely that these issues are related. Botox seven days later should not be able to migrate at all. And even immediately after injection it would be likely impossible for a normal dosage of Botox to travel from the upper third of your face to your muscles of facial expression in the lower third of your face. In addition there's no mechanism for Fraxel to cause the botox to move.

Clinical Context

After Fraxel, temporary swelling or skin tightness can make one side of the mouth look slightly different at rest or with expression. This is a normal, self-limited part of laser healing. Botox effects follow their own timeline based on when the injection was given, separate from any other treatment date. If you're unsure whether a symptom relates to Botox or to your laser session, your injector can review the timing and exam findings with you to sort out the cause.
