Can I Drink a Glass of Wine or Two After Having Injection of Hyalurindase?

Yes, a glass or two of wine after hyaluronidase injection should be fine. Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that dissolves hyaluronic acid filler, and alcohol doesn't interfere with that process or increase your risk of complications from the injection itself. That said, alcohol does thin the blood a bit and can increase bruising and swelling at the injection site, so if you want to minimize that, waiting a day is reasonable. Everyone's tissue responds a little differently, so if you notice unusual swelling, redness, or pain, contact your injector rather than waiting it out. If you have any other medical conditions or are on blood thinners, mention that to your provider before treatment as well.

Clinical Context

Hyaluronidase begins breaking down hyaluronic acid filler soon after injection, with most of its effect happening within the first day. Alcohol can temporarily widen blood vessels, which may worsen bruising or swelling if the area is still healing. Waiting a day before drinking allows initial swelling to settle, though an occasional glass afterward is unlikely to affect how well the enzyme works. Watch for increasing redness, pain, or swelling and contact your provider if that occurs.
