You need to take a bit of time to allow the swelling to resolve. Close follow-up with your treating physician (or physician's assistant) is important. Consider asking to speak with the physician that the PA practices under - hopefully a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Hyaluronidase breaks down hyaluronic acid filler so the body can absorb it. As this happens, the treated area often swells temporarily from the enzyme's effect and the body's response to clearing the material. This swelling is different from the original filler and usually settles within days as the tissue calms down. How long it takes can vary depending on how much filler was treated and the area involved.
