Can I get a filler (such as Juvederm Voluma) if I had PMMA injected in my face in the past?

There are no safety issues with using Bellafill and Voluma in the same area, especially since it's been several years since your initial treatment. Generally voluma isn't commonly used in the marionette lines as it's a relatively mobile area. Consider a softer product with more elasticity.

Clinical Context

PMMA (found in products like Bellafill) works differently from hyaluronic acid fillers—your body forms a permanent, stable layer around it rather than absorbing it. Once that healing process is complete, the area is generally considered stable enough to layer additional filler on top, if appropriate for that location. Your injector will assess how your tissue has settled before recommending a complementary product.
