How Long After Dysport Can I Proceed with my Heavy Workouts which Include Lost of Sweating?

I normally advise patients to refrain from strenuous activity and exercise for 12 hours after their treatments. The reason is mechanical, not related to sweating itself: right after injection, Dysport needs time to settle into the targeted muscle. Vigorous exercise increases blood flow and muscle movement in the area, which can cause the product to spread slightly before it has fully taken hold, potentially affecting how precisely it works. During that first 12 hours you don't need to do anything special, just avoid heavy lifting, running, or intense cardio. After that window, you can resume your normal workout routine. If you notice unusual bruising, swelling, or asymmetry in the treated area afterward, that's worth mentioning at your follow up or calling about.

Clinical Context

Dysport takes some time to settle into the treated muscle after injection. Vigorous exercise raises blood flow and muscle activity, which may cause the product to shift slightly before it's set. Waiting a short period, as your provider recommends, helps ensure the treatment stays where it was placed and works as intended. This has nothing to do with sweating itself.
