How Many Units Dysport for Crow Feet? I Don't Want to Have Regrets Please

The amount of Dysport used at the crows feet can vary depending on the person and the muscle movement at the crows feet. Some patients may need as little as 15 units per side (conservative treatment) or as much as 40 units per side. Men usually require more units because their muscles are stronger. It is best to have a consultation with an experienced injector to determine how many units would be required to achieve your desired result.

Clinical Context

Crow's feet form from repeated squeezing of the orbicularis oculi, the muscle ring around the eye. Dysport works by preventing nerve endings from releasing the chemical signal that tells this muscle to contract. Some injectors feel Dysport spreads slightly more in tissue than other neuromodulators, which is one reason unit counts aren't directly comparable between brands. Most patients notice softening within two to five days, with full effect settling in over the following week.
