I'm 1 Month Since Anchor Lift and Augment. How Would I Look if I Explanted?
Implants typically sit somewhat high immediately after surgery. They may take 3-4 months to settle. This is also true with nerve recovery. Typically, half of patients that have issues with sensation after these procedures recover with time. If you choose to remove the implants, you will likely lose some of the benefit from the implants. You should defintely talk to your surgeon about your concerns.
Clinical Context
Right after an anchor lift and augmentation, tissue is still swollen and implants haven't settled into their final position, so it's hard to predict exactly how you'd look without them. If implants were removed now, the lift's tightening and reshaping would generally remain, but the added volume and upper fullness would be lost. Skin elasticity and how much the breast tissue stretched before surgery also affect the result. Your surgeon can give you the clearest picture based on your specific anatomy and surgical plan.
