Is Breast Reduction Surgery similar to Liposuction?
I want breast reduction surgery and I am wondering how the procedure works. Do they just do liposuction to remove the extra fat in your breasts?
Breast reduction and liposuction
Breast reduction involves changing the volume of your breasts AND changing the skin envelope. Liposuction typically only significantly can change the volume. The other issue to consider is liposuction of the breasts can leave internal scarring that can appear very similar to calcifications seen in patients with breast cancer.
