The skin may be little more sensitive so I would be careful where you choose to have the procedure done, however don't let the scars stop you from getting it done. The laser should not aggravate the scar or cause internal damage.

Whether a scarred area is ready for laser hair removal depends mainly on how mature the scar is. A scar that's still pink, raised, or tender is more sensitive and should wait until it settles. Once a scar is flat, pale, and fully healed, it generally tolerates laser treatment much like the surrounding skin.
