Transform Your Body with Emsculpt

Building and toning your muscles is one thing. Getting rid of unsightly fat is quite another.

Now, there’s an innovative dual technology that achieves both goals simultaneously, quickly, and safely. In four 30-minute treatment sessions spread over two weeks, you can achieve the same results typically produced by six months of intense exercise and strict dieting.

Let’s discuss Emsculpt.

What Is Emsculpt?

Emsculpt is a noninvasive procedure using high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy to stimulate targeted muscle groups. These involuntary contractions are amazingly efficient in building and shaping muscles while at the same time reducing fat.

How Does Emsculpt Work?

Let’s start with those first two letters — e and m. They reflect the electromagnetic technology that is the “engine” for the device. Traditional exercise triggers muscle contractions that build muscle mass and tone over time. At Tri Valley serving Walnut Creek Emsculpt treatments are exponentially more efficient in producing those beneficial contractions than our own bodies are. This intense involuntary exercise in turn burns unwanted fat.

The instrument generates 20,000 muscle contractions in 30 minutes. One session produces the exercise equivalent of 20,000 crunches. Your quickly and heavily exercised muscles send alarm signals to fat cells in your treated areas that cause them to die. Those dead fat cells are then metabolized and excreted from your body, resulting in, more muscle mass, better muscle tone, destroyed fat cells in treatment areas, and significantly improved and sharpened body contours.

Benefits and Advantages of Emsculpt

HIFEM stimulation is very effective in noninvasively treating your abdomen, buttocks, thighs, calves, and arms and produce dramatic results in just 30 minutes with no downtime! In addition, our equipment is FDA approved for safety.

Research shows four 30-minute treatment sessions spread over a two-week span typically produce a 19% reduction of fat cells in treated areas and a 16% increase in muscle fibers in treated areas

Are you a candidate for Emsculpt?

Ideal Emsculpt candidates are men and women who are relatively fit but who want to achieve better body definition beyond what they can accomplish through exercise and diet alone. There is no age limit for HIFEM stimulation.

Patients who have undergone surgeries that have created scar tissue in their planned treatment areas may experience contractions that produce elevated discomfort.

You are not eligible for Emsculpt treatment if you:

  • Are pregnant
  • Have a cardiac pacemaker
  • Have an implanted defibrillator or neurostimulator
  • Have any electronic implant
  • Have any type of metal implant, including an IUD
  • Have an implanted drug pump
  • Have a heart disorder
  • Have a bleeding disorder

Consultation and Preparation

We’ll start your consultation with a relaxed conversation about your specific goals and desired treatment areas. We will take the time to answer all your questions and will be happy to show you “before and after” photos of our previous patients. The results speak for themselves!

No special preparation is required, but ensure you are well-hydrated to reduce cramping. Wear light, comfortable clothing, and make sure you have no jewelry or metal of any kind on your body during your session. In addition, all electronic devices must be surrendered — we will secure them — because the electromagnetic energy used in the process can harm those devices.

Your Procedure

During Emsculpt Walnut Creek patients will feel intense but tolerable muscle contractions in their treatment areas. We will treat to your discomfort tolerance threshold. As long as muscle contractions are occurring, the HIFEM technology will advance your goals. No anesthesia or gym is required.

Recovery

After your treatment with Emsculpt, you will be under no restrictions, but keep drinking lots of water!

Remember that smoking or excessive alcohol consumption can negatively affect your results.

Treatment Protocol

A minimum number of four sessions is recommended to achieve optimal results, each separated by at least two days.

Some patients may require additional sessions, depending on their goals.

Results

You’ll see a noticeable difference in two weeks or less, but it will take about three months for your results to “max out.” You are going to like what you see!

Does Emsculpt tighten loose skin, treat cellulite, or reduce belly fat?

How much can Emsculpt reduce my waist size? And how much weight will I lose?

What are the costs?

Is Emsculpt painful?

HIFEM technology works by triggering very strong involuntary muscle contractions. As a result, there is some discomfort during treatment, but we will never “turn it up” beyond your expressed tolerance level.

Bottom line—Is Emsculpt safe? Are there side effects?

Numerous studies have supported the safety of the electromagnetic devices used, and no serious adverse events have ever been recorded. Following your treatment, you will have muscle soreness that will vary from patient to patient. It may feel as if you are recovering from a very intense workout. But these treatments help clear lactic acid from your body, which will lessen your soreness.

What’s the difference between Emsculpt and CoolSculpting?

Emsculpt uses electromagnetic energy to both build muscle and reduce fat. CoolSculpting uses super-cold temperatures to destroy fat cells but does not impact muscle development in any way.

Does Emsculpt tighten loose skin, treat cellulite, or reduce belly fat?

While it may occasionally have some slight benefit in tightening loose skin, it is not a prescribed treatment for cellulite. It will, however, reduce belly fat, so get ready to see abdominal muscles you haven’t seen in a while!

How much can Emsculpt reduce my waist size? And how much weight will I lose?

Typically, patients will lose an inch and a half off their waist and up to 7.5 pounds. But, remember, the most significant benefit will be your newly refined body contours.

Will my insurance pay for Emsculpt?

No.

What are the costs?

Industry figures place the cost for a single session between $750 and $1,000. So four HIFEM sessions over two weeks will likely cost between $4,000.
