Between brows area bulging after frown line botox. Injector said this is normal. Will this go down or do I have to wait?

It takes 2 weeks for the full effects of Botox to be appreciated. Before then, it's possible that some fibers are relaxed and some aren't, causing some bunching of the muscle fibers. Please follow up with your injector in-person at 2 weeks if the problem persists.

Clinical Context

Botox works by blocking the nerve signals that tell muscles to contract, but this doesn't happen instantly. Different muscle fibers respond at different rates, so some areas relax sooner than others in the first one to two weeks. During this transition, the uneven muscle activity can create temporary bunching, bulging, or asymmetry between the brows. This is a normal part of how the treatment takes effect and usually resolves as all the fibers finish responding.
