Can I do Botox on Wednesday then photofacial and hair removal on Friday?

Yes, it's fine to receive a photofacial and hair removal treatment 2 days after Botox. I typically ask patients to wait a minimum of 24 hours.

The reason isn't that the treatments interact, they don't. Botox works on the muscle, while photofacial and laser hair removal target pigment and blood vessels in the skin, a completely different mechanism. The main issue is just letting any pinpoint injection marks, redness, or mild swelling from the Botox settle so your skin looks calm and normal, which lets me judge laser settings and results accurately. By Wednesday to Friday you'll have plenty of time for that to resolve. If you still notice bruising or swelling at the injection sites on Friday, mention it before we start your session.

Clinical Context

Wednesday to Friday is enough separation for these two appointments to coexist safely, since the question really hinges on visibility and skin readiness rather than any interaction between treatments. Botox settles into the muscle within a day or so, so any pinpoint marks or mild swelling should be gone before your light-based session. The light-based treatments work by targeting pigment or blood vessels, an unrelated mechanism, but your provider still needs clear, calm skin to judge settings and results accurately.
