Day 5 After Botox....absolutely No Difference in Glabella!

Normally, Botox can take 3-7 days to start seeing results, with full results at 2 weeks. Usually 20 units are injected into the glabella region should be effective. The good news is that you can get a touch up and have more units injected if you do not see results by 2 weeks.

Clinical Context

At day 5, the real decision is whether to wait or flag the treatment as ineffective—and waiting is almost always the right call. Glabella muscles vary in strength, and stronger frown muscles often take longer to visibly soften, sometimes not showing much change until closer to the two-week mark. Booking a follow-up around day 14 gives a clearer picture; if there's still no movement restriction then, that's the appropriate time to discuss a possible touch-up with your injector.
