Do Botox and Restylane Work Best If Used Together?

Can you get better results in skin improvement, wrinkle reduction and anti-aging by doing more than one injected product like Botox, Restyklane or Juvaderm?

Botox and Restylane Combination

Quick Answer: Yes. With the right combination of products you can achieve more optimal results than with any one product individually. In our San Francisco area practice we commonly use products such as Botox and Restylane together. Thank you for your question. Injected products, or injectables, are used to treat a wide range of cosmetic concerns. While using one product alone can have great results, using different products together can produce even greater results. Some combinations of products compliment each other nicely and others are too similar and do not add value when used together. Botox and Dysport are neurotoxins, they essentially do the same thing and are used interchangeably. There is no benefit to using them together. Restylane and Juvederm (among others) are fillers. Some fillers are made differently and have different uses. There can be a benefit from using different fillers together. Restylane and Juvederm, however, are similar and often used interchangeably. Sculptra and Radiesse are examples of other fillers that can be used in combination with Restylane or Juvederm. Using a neurotoxin and filler together or using different fillers together can produce a more cosmetically appealing appearance than with any product used alone. I hope this helps.
