Estimated number of units needed for the vertical lines between my eyebrows?

I generally recommend 15-20U of Botox between the eyebrows (depending on how much relaxation you desire). It's important not to over-treat the forehead muscle as it's the only brow elevator and too many units can lead to a feeling of "heaviness. Make sure to see an experienced, board-certified injector to minimize risk of adverse effects.

Clinical Context

The vertical lines between the brows come from the corrugator and procerus muscles, which pull the skin together when you frown. Botox works by blocking the nerve signal that triggers these muscles, so the muscle relaxes and the line softens over several days. Because the frontalis muscle just above sits close by and is responsible for raising the brow, injections are kept precisely within the glabellar area to avoid affecting brow position.
