Hard lump after Botox.

It's difficult to know without an in person exam but based on your description, it sounds like you may have a bruise from the needle injection. Depending on the size of the bruise, it should resolve anywhere from 2-10 days. Take some arnica and gently massage to break up the bruise.

Clinical Context

A firm bump after Botox usually gets checked for two things first: whether it's tender or bruised, suggesting a small blood vessel was disrupted by the needle, or firm and painless, suggesting localized swelling or a tiny muscle reaction at the injection point. Both patterns typically settle within days. It has nothing to do with how the toxin itself works, since that effect on muscle activity develops separately and more gradually over the following one to two weeks.
