I Am 42 Yrs Old, 5'6" Tall and 103 Lbs. I Am in Need of Stomach Repair After 3 Pregnancies

Most commonly your situation would call for a full abdominoplasty. Taking skin from around the umbilicus as a method for skin reduction is challenging because you can only take a very limited amount of skin from the abdomen using this technique.

Clinical Context

After multiple pregnancies, stretched abdominal skin often can't spring back on its own, and the underlying abdominal muscles can separate at the midline, a condition called diastasis recti. A limited procedure around the belly button only removes a small ring of skin, since just so much tissue can safely be repositioned in that area. A full tummy tuck lets the surgeon pull skin down from the ribs to the pubic area, reposition the belly button, and directly repair the muscle separation.
