I'm 45 years old, and I had Juvederm filler between my eyebrows (frown lines) to avoid having botox. Options?

Filler in the frown lines will fill wrinkles but not prevent movement. Botox inhibits movement, preventing wrinkles from forming or deepening, and is a highly effective treatment for the forehead. Whether or not you choose to do Botox is a personal decision, but the risks are low.

Clinical Context

Filler and Botox solve different problems. Filler adds volume to smooth an existing line but doesn't stop the muscle from moving, so creases can return as it wears off. Botox relaxes the frown muscles by blocking the nerve signal that makes them contract, so new lines don't form. The glabella is also a higher-risk area for filler injections because of nearby blood vessels, so it's important to have this done by an experienced injector familiar with that anatomy.
