Is 20 too young to start cosmetic procedures? i.e. Botox, Dermal Fillers, Kybella, Laser.

Starting Botox at a younger age can actually help to reduce formation of permanent fine lines due to repetitive movement. Additionally, younger patients typically do not require as many units to soften dynamic lines. In regards to filler, that is up to the patient and their desired cosmetic goals. Filler can be used to add volume to the face and lips at a young age, or restore lost volume as we get older. As always, see a board-certified clinician for a consultation prior is the utmost important.

Clinical Context

Younger skin generally has more collagen and heals a bit faster, which can mean less visible bruising after injections. Botox and filler results still typically last several months regardless of age. Because facial anatomy and skin quality vary, the right approach depends on your individual goals and features, which is best discussed during an in-person consultation with a qualified injector.
