Is a 375cc Breast Implant a Good Size for Me?
Whether 375cc is right for you depends on more than the number on the implant box. Your chest wall width, existing breast tissue, skin elasticity, and the degree of any sag all determine how a given volume will actually look on your frame. The same 375cc implant can look moderate on one woman and quite full on another simply because of differences in breast diameter and tissue coverage. Without an exam I can't tell you if that size fits your body, but a board-certified plastic surgeon can measure your breast base width and soft tissue and tell you where 375cc falls relative to your natural proportions.
In our East Bay practice, when patients are torn on size we let them trial different implant sizers inside a bra for a week or two. It's not perfect, but wearing them under real clothing, while driving, exercising, and sleeping gives a much better sense of fit than photos or guessing. If your surgeon doesn't offer sizers, rice-filled bags in a bra can approximate volume in a pinch. Find a surgeon willing to take the time to work through this with you.
