Should I get more Botox or wait for bump to go away?

I always advise patients to wait the 2 weeks to show the maximum result and avoid overtreatment. After 2 weeks, follow up with your injector to reassess.

Clinical Context

A bump right after injection is usually just the needle mark or a small pocket of fluid under the skin, and this typically fades within a day or two — well before Botox has even started working. A bump or asymmetry that shows up one to two weeks later is different: it usually reflects how the muscles are responding as the Botox takes full effect. That's why waiting the full two weeks before deciding on more treatment gives the clearest, most accurate picture of your results.
