Three days after getting chin fillers, I rested my chin in my hand. Could I have messed up the filler?
Since it's only been 3 days since the injection, the area is still likely tender to touch. Theoretically, significant pressure/molding can migrate filler product in the initial weeks after treatment but if you're still happy with the contour/shape, likely there is nothing to be concerned about. You can always follow up with your injector if you have any concerns.
Clinical Context
Hyaluronic acid filler starts soft and gradually integrates with the surrounding tissue over the following weeks, which is why it can be more prone to shifting under sustained pressure early on. Briefly resting your chin in your hand is unlikely to move it, but repeated firm pressure in the first couple of weeks could theoretically alter its position. Mild tenderness and swelling are normal in the days after injection. If you notice new asymmetry or a change in contour, contact your injector for an exam.
