What should I do for crepeing under eyes and on cheeks?

A little bit of cheek filler can help to support and soften the pull of the overlying skin from muscle contraction. To improve the skin quality itself, consider microneedling with PRP or RF to stimulate collagen and thicken the dermis. This will also help to reduce the appearance of skin crepiness. In the undereye area, ezGEL is an effective skin rejuvenation treatment.

Clinical Context

Under-eye skin is thinner and has less fat than cheek skin, so bruising and swelling can be more noticeable and last longer after treatment there. Filler placed too superficially or in excess under the eyes can look puffy or bluish. Energy-based treatments like RF or lasers need lower settings under the eyes than on thicker cheek skin to avoid burns or irritation. Discuss these differences with your provider when planning treatment for both areas.
