When Are All Visible Signs of a Healing Rhinoplasty Gone From the Public Eye?
After rhinoplasty, the period when other people can visibly tell that you have had surgery is usually much shorter than the period required for the nose to completely heal. For most patients, the splint and any external sutures are removed after about a week. Bruising around the eyes and nose is generally substantially improved within 1–2 weeks, and many patients feel comfortable returning to work and social activities around this time. By approximately 2–4 weeks, most of the obvious swelling and bruising has improved significantly.
