Can I have a Brazilian Butt Lift without gaining weight (I am 5'2" and 120 pounds)?

It's a tricky question that can be hard to answer. Ideal amounts of fat transfer for significant results are typically over 500 cc of fat per buttocks. That typically means you need to get about 3 liters of fat from your liposuction (not all fat from liposuction is usable for fat transfer). The less fat you have the less fat is available for transfer. However, the closer you are to your ideal body weight the more impressive the results can be.

Clinical Context

After fat transfer, some of the grafted fat is naturally reabsorbed over the first few weeks as it establishes a new blood supply, and swelling can temporarily hide the final shape. Results typically settle over one to three months. Because leaner patients start with less fat to transfer, their results may look more subtle than those with more donor fat available, though final outcomes vary by individual healing and technique.
