Can You Still Become Pregnant After Going Through Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery?

There is nothing about a brazilian butt lift that would prevent you from becoming pregnant. The procedure moves your own fat into the buttocks, and it doesn't touch your uterus, hormones, or reproductive organs, so fertility and your ability to carry a pregnancy aren't affected.

You may lose some of the contour improvement though, since weight gain and loss during and after pregnancy can shift or shrink the fat that was transferred. This isn't dangerous, just cosmetic, and you likely won't notice it until well after delivery once your body settles into its new weight. If you have immediate plans to have more children, have the children first, so the results you eventually get are the ones you'll keep.

Clinical Context

A BBL transfers your own fat into the buttocks; it doesn't involve the uterus, hormones, or reproductive organs, so it has no effect on fertility or your ability to carry a pregnancy. What can change is appearance: pregnancy-related weight gain or loss can shift or shrink the transferred fat, altering the shape and volume you achieved with surgery. That's why surgeons often suggest finishing childbearing before a BBL if results need to stay consistent long-term.
