Had my lips done 0.5 Juvederm Ultra last month and the middle of my lip is big and lumpy can only that spot be reversed?

If the provider used a hyaluronic acid filler, like Juvederm or Restylane, he or she can inject hyaluronidase to dissolve the excess filler. Once all your swelling as resolved, I recommend returning to your provider with your concerns.

Clinical Context

Lumps that show up weeks after lip filler usually have one of two causes: filler that settled unevenly, or ongoing swelling and healing tissue that hasn't smoothed out yet. Hyaluronidase only works on hyaluronic acid fillers, and it dissolves whatever tissue it reaches, so precise placement matters. It won't fix swelling or healing-related firmness — that needs more time. An in-person exam lets your injector tell which cause is behind your lump before deciding whether dissolving is the right next step.
