That's genuinely unusual, and a week is too fast for hyaluronic acid filler to disappear on its own. Juvederm works by adding volume and hydration to targeted areas of the face, and normal breakdown by the body's hyaluronidase enzyme takes months, not days. What you're describing sounds more like resolution of post-injection swelling than actual product loss. If there truly was visible correction that fully reversed in a week, possibilities include a very superficial injection depth, unusually fast metabolism of the product, or the treated area simply wasn't as filled as it appeared right after injection when swelling was masking things. Bruising or fluid shifts can also make results look more dramatic initially and then "fade" faster than the filler itself does. Bring this up directly with your injector.
