Injection Safety- Injector and Product
Thank you for your question. Under no circumstance should you, or anyone who is not currently medically licensed to perform injections, perform any cosmetic injections. This is not only illegal, it is potentially very dangerous. First, receiving injections from someone who does not have adequate training and experience does not guarantee they are knowledgeable on proper techniques or how to handle complications that can arise. Even with a safe product an unsafe injector can be detrimental. Second, ordering products from overseas means there is no guarantee the material in the package is what is indicated. If the product is anything other than what the packaging says you are putting yourself at risk for developing devastating reactions that may be permanent. Even in the hands of the most skilled injectors, unknown products can produce long-term, devastating results. For additional information on injection safety you can use the link below to view our segment on Good Morning America discussing the topic. I hope this helps.
