Why Did my Juvederm Results Disappear After One Day?
That sudden disappearance is usually swelling settling, not the filler vanishing. Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid gel, and HA binds water. Right after injection you get volume from both the product itself and the tissue swelling and micro-bruising from the needle passes. As that inflammatory swelling resolves over the following days, the area can look deflated compared to that first-day "win," even though the actual filler is still sitting where it was placed. True final results take one to two weeks to judge fairly.
That said, technique matters. Filler injected too deeply, or too little volume for the area, can also give a result that looks underwhelming once initial puffiness fades. If it genuinely looks like nothing is there after the swelling settles, that's worth a follow-up visit with your injector. Have a board-certified plastic surgeon, dermatologist, or facial plastic surgeon take a look and decide whether more product or a different injection plane is needed.
