Will the puffiness from 1ML of Juvederm subside?

Swelling from filler treatment can take up to 2 weeks to fully resolve and may take longer if you have significant bruising. It's a good idea to wait the full two weeks and then re-evaluate. If the upper lip is still too large and is bothersome, you can consider hyaluronidase to dissolve some of the filler but it's not very precise.

Clinical Context

Lip swelling after filler varies by person and depends on injection technique, product volume, and individual healing. Most swelling subsides within one to two weeks, though bruising can prolong it. Waiting the full two weeks before judging the final result helps avoid overreacting to temporary puffiness. If lips still feel too full after that, hyaluronidase can dissolve some filler, though results with this reversal agent aren't always perfectly even or predictable.
